In this blog, we will explore the fundamentals of Figma, including its interface, breakpoints, design approach, grids, and units. Figma plays an essential role in UI design; thus, you can\u2019t miss it in your UI\/UX design training<\/a><\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

First, let us discuss Figma, which is a User Interface (UI) design tool used for prototyping and team collaboration. It is a web-based which means you don\u2019t need to run this software on your local computer; it will work on your browser.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Important Fundamentals of Figma<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

A. Figma Interface<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

It consisted of three sections: \u2013<\/p>\n\n\n\n

1. Navigation bar<\/em><\/h4>\n\n\n\n

It is in the top section of the screen and lets you perform different tasks.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

a.<\/strong> User name<\/strong> \u2013 Name of the user is displayed.
b.<\/strong> Search bar<\/strong> \u2013 You can search your project or files by name.
c.<\/strong> Notifications<\/strong>– Notifications related to your account will appear.
d<\/strong>. Account menu<\/strong> \u2013 You can manage your account settings.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It is located on the left side of the screen, and it allows you to choose the projects or prototypes you work on.
a. Recent \u2013 Recently viewed or edited work will be present.
b. Drafts \u2013 The unpublished work will get saved here.
c. Community \u2013 A space where designers browse plugins and files that other users have shared.
d. Teams <\/strong>\u2013 The teams where you joined.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
